Alicia Moore was born into a multicultural family. Her father, a financial professional from the United States, was assigned to Canada for work at a young age, where he met Alicia’s mother in Toronto. The family has since lived and worked in Canada for many years.

Growing up in Canada, Alicia’s English was relatively average. At the age of 18, she returned to the U.S. to pursue her college education and attended New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Current Position: Analyst & Investment Advisor at VSR Strategy Institute

Primary Role: Responsible for welcoming and onboarding new members

Professional Background

Alicia Moore holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Marketing from NYU Stern. She has seven years of experience in the financial industry.

She began her career as an Investment Advisor Assistant at Merrill Lynch, where she managed high-net-worth client accounts, adjusted portfolios, and maintained client relationships. She later joined J.P. Morgan Private Bank, specializing in U.S. equities and ETF portfolio allocation, developing a strong foundation in market analysis and asset allocation.

In 2022, Alicia was invited by Professor Sebastian Richter to join the VSR Club, where she served as Chief Assistant and Operations Manager, supporting the club’s operations, member services, investment research, and trade execution.

As an Analyst & Investment Advisor at VSR Strategy Institute, Alicia Moore is primarily responsible for the following:

New Member Onboarding & Consultation

- Welcoming and onboarding new members by introducing them to the firm’s services, investment strategies, and analytical framework.

- Helping members make informed investment decisions based on their financial goals and risk tolerance.

- Offering one-on-one consultations to address new members’ questions and ensure they fully understand VSR's investment philosophy and operational process.

Market Research & Investment Strategy

- Participating in the Institute’s market analysis initiatives and leveraging data to provide stock recommendations and strategic insights.

- Authoring and publishing research reports on individual stocks, industry trends, and macroeconomic developments to guide members with clear, professional analysis.

Client Relations & Communication

- Maintaining strong relationships with existing members by regularly updating them on portfolio performance and market developments.

- Providing timely support via phone, email, or online communication platforms to address client inquiries and ensure their needs are met.

- Recommending high-quality investment opportunities backed by in-house research and assisting clients in executing decisions.

Training & Education

- Actively participating in and organizing internal training sessions to enhance team expertise and ensure market responsiveness.

- Offering personalized investment education to new members, helping them understand the market, evaluate opportunities, and grow their investment skills.
